The Meridian ring

Most cutters would have removed the inclusion. It runs diagonally through the emerald and, in certain light, reads as a fine dark thread.

We kept it. The ring is named for it.

The mount is four claws of drawn yellow gold and nothing else. The band is left with the marks of the drawplate, which soften with wear.
